Woodland 2nd grade visits Andrews' Farm

CCOYA hosted a field trip at the Andrews' Farm for the Woodland Elementary 2nd grade class. We had to dodge some raindrops in the morning but the afternoon weather was perfect!! The kids got to learn about storm water and erosion with the Cameron County Conservation District, they explored the different habitats at the farm with Sizerville State Parks EES Steve Burke and fishing at the pond. At the end of the day the class was given their intro into Trout in the classroom followed by a craft. Thank you to all who helped make this day so great!!!
