400 people, including upwards of 240 kids, turned out for last weekends Salt Run Youth Fish Fest, a project spearheaded by Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities. Many organizations and individuals pitched in to make it a fun occasion for young anglers such as Chloe Darr, shown here with one of her catches. CCOYA reports that there are still ample supplies of trout in the pond and stream. Youths 12 and under are welcome and asked to register when arriving and enter the number of fish taken prior to leaving.
