CCOYA experimented with a new project this year raising sweet corn and selling it. We learned a lot through this process, but overall, it was a huge success and the community embraced the idea. When the season ended, we sold almost 1000 dozen ears of corn. We plan to do this project again in 2021. We have had people tell us they would volunteer their time to help pick corn and man the corn stands. In this photo, Ms. Emilie a CCHS Freshman, Wildlife Leadership Academy Alumni (notice t-shirt) and loyal CCOYA volunteer, helped picked and sell corn during this project.
