CCOYA presented a program on June 28 at Prospect Park Playground. We had a great time talking to an awesome group of young people about white tailed deer antler growth. Also talked about the many adaptations they have developed to survive. Using a bathroom spray we learned about deer’s keen sense of smell and being down wind or upwind of an animal you’re stalking. We also played a fun game that teaches about deer’s awesome hearing. We also did a couple shed hunts. Had pizza for lunch and topped it off with ice cream sandwiches. Thanks for the invite. Great to be doing live programs again!
